We want to take this time of coming together to highlight something that is near and dear to both of us - being with family. Please join us in creating lifelong memories at the following events:
On Saturday, October first, we're going to enjoy some college football! We will be cheering on the Boise State University Broncos as they battle the University of Nevada – Reno Wolfpack. Join us at noon at Burger & Brew in Boise. The game starts at twelve thirty. This event is unhosted; meals and beverages are available for purchase.
Following BSU's inevitable triumph, we'll be meandering over to the RiverGlen Junior High School for some sports of our own. Share your softball skills with us – all experience levels welcome – or just come to cheer on the bride! Ok, you can cheer for the groom, too. =D Some equipment will be provided, but if you have a glove, bring it! Beverages and snacks will be provided.
When we've had enough exertion, we'll give everyone a chance to wind down and clean up before the night's activities. Saturday night will be our late night of fun and frivolity as some of you will be traveling home on Tuesday, or will just be due back at your daily grind! ;) We'll meet up around nine at Montego Bay in Boise, and see where the evening takes us!
On Sunday, October second, we'll let you sleep in – a little. At eleven it's time to hit the links with the groom. Meet him at Quail Hollow Golf Course – perhaps you'll witness his second hole in one! (Or, based on the strength of his hangover, perhaps you'll witness his first par 20!) Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden does not apply here – everyone is welcome. Or join the bride for some slightly lower key activities (details below). This event is unhosted; please expect a $35 green fee.
The bride will be enjoying a less frustrating version of the game – mini golf. Join her at Wahooz in Meridian at eleven. This event is unhosted; please expect a $7 'green' fee ($5 for children eight and under).
Following, we'll head over to Ceramica (a pottery studio) in Boise. Bring your creative skills – each of you will create a one-of-a-kind dinner plate for the crazy couple to cherish forever. The bride will happily assist the kids with a similar project. Also, break out your crazy hats! Buy one, make one – just be sure to wear one. The gal (or guy) with the zaniest hat wins a prize. This event is hosted and a light lunch will be served.
The Rehearsal Dinner is Sunday evening. Separate invitations will be sent for this event.
Monday, October third is the big day! Feel free to arrive at Barber Park early and meander the paths through the woods and along the Boise River. Things will start hopping closer to three, with the ceremony kicking off around three thirty. Please stay for dinner, dancing and a delightfully good time.
We ask that you prioritize attending our events over giving us a gift – your presence is our greatest gift!
